Job Description
As a DevOps Team Member at Ford Otosan, your main goal will be to streamline our software development and deployment process, allowing us to innovate and deploy at scale and with agility. Leveraging your experience, you will play a key role in improving and optimizing our DevOps practices, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency across our platforms.
Your role will be crucial in automating and optimizing our operations and processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. You will also contribute to strategic decisions regarding architecture, tooling, and DevOps methodologies while ensuring smooth operations in our dev, test, and production environments.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Implementing and managing continuous delivery systems and methodologies.
- Understanding, implementing, and automating security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation.
- Managing production and development environments in cloud platforms.
- Building, maintaining, and monitoring configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps processes.
- Working with developers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
Experience
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in an agile and cloud-native environment.
- Played a key role in automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
- Designed and implemented proactive monitoring and alerting systems to ensure application performance and availability.
- Contributed to DevOps strategy by evaluating and recommending tools and methodologies for infrastructure automation and deployment.
- Facilitated seamless collaboration between development and operations teams, ensuring faster and more reliable software releases.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are highly desirable.

Technical Skills and Competencies
- Cloud Platforms: Proficient in Azure Cloud services (Compute, Storage, Networking, AKS), with additional familiarity in AWS and GCP.
- CI/CD Tools: Extensive experience with Azure DevOps (tasks, repos, pipelines), jFrog Artifactory, Bazel and Argo CD.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Advanced knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Scripting & Automation: Strong proficiency in Python and Shell scripting, with basic knowledge of C++.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Pulumi for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure is a plus.
- Monitoring & Logging: Familiar with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and Azure-native monitoring solutions.
- Version Control: Extensive experience with Git and GitOps workflows.
- Networking & Security: Good understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, load balancers, and cloud-native security practices.
