Network Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with deep expertise in IP Core and MPLS technologies. The ideal candidate will lead the design, architecture, and implementation of complex network solutions for enterprise-scale infrastructure. You will operate at both strategic and tactical levels, ensuring robust, scalable, and efficient network architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect IP Core and MPLS network solutions to meet customer and business requirements.
• Lead strategic planning, network design, and deployment activities across the organization.
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for the configuration and rollout of MPLS-based services.
• Translate high-level business objectives into technical network designs and implementation plans.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, security, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and performance.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.

Essential Skills:

• Extensive experience in IP Core and MPLS network domains, including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS), MPLS VPNs, QoS, and traffic engineering.
• Proven track record in network architecture, high-level design (HLD), and low-level design (LLD) for service provider or large enterprise networks.
• Strong hands-on experience in configuring and managing routers, switches, and MPLS-based infrastructure.
• Experience working with multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, etc.).
• Deep understanding of network security, redundancy, and performance tuning.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) to streamline network tasks.
• Experience in SDN/NFV technologies.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools and performance analytics platforms.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to function independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
