Job Description

As a Node.js Developer, you will be pivotal in building, optimizing, and maintaining back-end components that are scalable, robust, and efficient to support web and mobile applications. Your expertise in server-side programming will contribute significantly to the development life cycle and drive performance-driven solutions. You are expected to work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and implement robust application architectures that meet business requirements. Your role will also involve integrating user-facing components developed by front-end developers with server side logic, developing high-performance and reliable API services, conducting rigorous security and performance audits, and providing critical inputs on technical project decisions. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side logic using robust Node.js frameworks and standards.
• Collaborate effectively with front-end developers to integrate server-side solutions with user interfaces.
• Create and manage a scalable architecture that supports web and mobile applications.
• Ensure data security and protection through appropriate security measures and practices.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle from concept through post-release support.
• Conduct performance analysis and optimize application performance and responsiveness.
• Design database architecture for optimal data storage, retrieval, and mining efficacy.
• Implement API endpoints and document them for seamless integration and consumption.
• Regularly review code and conduct unit testing to ensure code quality and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate necessary improvements.
• Contribute technical input in team discussions and project planning sessions.
• Understand and execute project requirements as conveyed by stakeholders and product managers.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Node.js Developer with a strong portfolio of developed projects.
• Proficient in JavaScript and understanding the nature of asynchronous programming.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies and their integration with backend services.
• Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with database systems such as MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
