We’re looking for a highly adaptable Product Designer I to join our Personalization design team. You’ll support projects and teams across Pinterest, ramping up quickly where help is needed most. You’ll collaborate with teammates in a dynamic environment, regularly tackling new design challenges.

We’re looking for a highly adaptable Product Designer I to join our Personalization design team. You’ll support projects and teams across Pinterest, ramping up quickly where help is needed most. You’ll collaborate with teammates in a dynamic environment, regularly tackling new design challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with product, engineering and design teams to deliver user-centered solutions across multiple products and teams
- Rapidly ramp up in new contexts, workflows and processes, adapting to evolving priorities and project needs
- Produce high-quality design deliverables, including UI flows, visual mocks, and prototypes that follow Pinterest’s design system
- Conduct audits of competitor and existing experiences to spot opportunities for improvement and inspiration
- Apply systematic thinking to your work, contributing to scalable, consistent design patterns
- Participate in critique sessions and implement feedback to strengthen your designs
- Reflect on your work and actively seek out learning opportunities to grow your craft
- Support with research, production design or other design-related tasks as needed
- Experience in producing polished visual design work for digital products with attention to detail
- Adaptability to new teams, products and fast-changing environments
- Growth mindset with a commitment to ongoing learning and self-reflection
- Willingness to accept feedback, experiment and iterate in a collaborative setting
- Enthusiasm for collaborating with cross-functional partners (product, research, engineering)
- Interest in systematic design and building for scale
- Comfort conducting competitor and product audits to inform your design decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as design, HCI, human-centered design or equivalent experience

- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times/quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
