Role – UI/UX Designer
Location – NYC NY (Day One Onsite, Hybrid)
Duration – Fulltime
Key Responsibilities
- Lead UX design efforts for complex applications with data-intensive workflows (e.g., dashboards, analytics tools, internal platforms).
- Translate user needs and product requirements into user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and final UI designs.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs and micro-interactions.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to validate design decisions.
- Design for scalability, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), and responsiveness across devices.
- Champion user-centric design principles across the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in UX/UI design with a focus on web and enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing complex interfaces (e.g., multi-step workflows, data visualizations, admin portals).
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent.
- Experience with prototyping tools and methods (e.g., Figma prototypes, InVision, Axure).
- Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React basics) to communicate effectively with developers.
- Ability to conduct and apply findings from UX research and usability testing.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and modern product development cycles.
- Background in designing AI/ML-based or data-intensive applications is a plus.
- Familiarity with motion design tools (e.g., After Effects, Principle) is a bonus.

Salary Transparency

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $103330 to $128656 /yearly.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
