What does an outstanding Automation Engineer do at Fiserv?

As an Automation engineer in the team, you will play an essential role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality mobile native and web application testing. You will leverage your extensive experience in both manual and automated testing to enhance the user experience for millions of users.

What You Will Do:

• Perform manual/automation testing of web and mobile native applications (iOS and Android) to ensure seamless functionality and user experience.
• Utilize Selenium & Appium to automate native and web application testing, improving efficiency and reliability.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as POSTMAN to validate backend services.
• Perform accessibility testing on web and mobile applications to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
• Analyse initial defects using logs from tools such as Splunk, Fiddler, Charles, and BURP.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members, both onshore and offshore, to solve issues and improve the testing process.
• Manage code repositories using tools such as Git to maintain a streamlined development process.

What You Will Need To Have:

• 7+ years of experience in automation testing.
• Proficiency in manual/automation testing of web and mobile native applications (iOS and Android).
• Hands-on experience with web application automation using Selenium and Appium.
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence for lifecycle traceability.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Kotlin, or C#.
• Knowledge of HTML, XML, and JSON feeds, and competence in working with MS SQL.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.

What Would Be Great To Have:

• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks.
• Experience in the banking domain and/or digital applications.
• Familiarity with Cucumber/Gherkins.
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA and X-Ray.
