DevOps Engineer with Golang

Our customer is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with wide practical knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS and strong experience as a Golang Developer to join the international team supporting the development and maintenance of a cloud-based innovative platform.

Your tasks

  • Supporting the production platform according to a schedule
  • Developing software in Golang and adhering to industry best standards and security requirements
  • Maintaining declarative definitions of infrastructure and other resources in YAML
  • Developing abstractions over Kubernetes workloads
  • Building productive networks with technical colleagues, knowledge sharing, participating in technical forums, and user groups
  • Demonstrating a strong working understanding of production systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve many problems on assigned systems with minimal support

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of software development, including minimum 2 years of working in Golang (or other programming language with the ability to change to Go)
  • Solid DevOps experience in running applications on Kubernetes
  • Strong know-how in writing Kubernetes operators
  • Ability to write RESTful APIs and use Swagger to generate REST clients
  • Thorough knowledge of AWS
  • Availability for on-call/support duty in a 12h/7-day schedule if needed
  • Very good English communication skills
