With 10,600 employees, the Company's casino operations include approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games and 3,800 hotel rooms. Upon completing the construction of a permanent casino facility in Chicago, Bally's will own and/or manage 15 casinos across 10 states. Bally’s also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana. 

Well, what about the team?

We’re looking for a Junior Software Engineer in the Player Accounts Wallet (PAW) area in Estonia. Player Accounts Wallet area owns services related to registration, account management, login, security, and wallet.

You will be working with a cross-functional team. You will be responsible for the full software development life cycle, from design to delivery using the latest tools and technologies. You will work alongside other developers to design elegant solutions and troubleshoot difficult problems.

So, what will you be doing?

• Design and develop high-volume, high-performance, high-availability Java applications using proven Java frameworks and technologies
• Maintaining and upgrading existing software.
• Investigating software-related complaints and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal software performance.
• Regularly attending team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and put forward solutions to any issues.
  
  

And what will you need?

• Expertise in back-end development with Java.
• An understanding of DevOps (scripting, deploying, CI/CD).
• An understanding and some experience of Databases.
• An understanding of Spring framework and microservices architecture.
• Testing good practices: both unit and integration testing.
• Knowledge in software engineering concepts, best practices, and design patterns.
• Able to learn new technologies quickly.
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Can deliver results within set deadlines.
