Cloud Engineer

As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and integrating complex software solutions. You will be involved in high-level strategic architectural decisions, participate in code reviews, and provide support and mentoring to team members.

You will help tackle the technical challenges that arise as the business grows and evolves, working collaboratively to ensure that our services continue to meet both business and customer needs.

Availability for on-call shifts is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain best-in-class infrastructure solutions
• Participate in the whole lifecycle of the product - design, documentation, coding, testing, and release
• Contribute to system-wide architecture discussions, and make decisions collaboratively
• Consistently produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Revise, update, refactor, and debug code

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ experience in a scripting language (e.g. Bash, Python)
• 2+ experience in a programming language (e.g. JavaScript, Golang, Java)
• 3+ years of experience with Micro-services
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with CI tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Concourse CI, ...)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with CD tools (ArgoCD, Helm, kustomize, …)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with LINUX/UNIX systems
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud providers (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with one IAC framework (e.g. Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible)
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, ELK stack, OpenTelemetry, …)
• Good knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware) is a plus
• Good knowledge of one database (MySQL, SQL Server, Couchbase, MongoDB, Redis, ...) is a plus
• Good knowledge of GIT and one Git Provider (e.g. GitLab, GitHub)
• Good knowledge of networking
• Experience writing technical documentation.
• Good Communication & Time Management Skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical thinking & Problem-Solving Attitude.
• Advanced English skills, both written and spoken
