Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Are you a passionate Software Engineer experienced in C#/.NET, ready to make a difference in the energy sector? Our client is looking for a skilled professional who thrives on creating smart software solutions that reduce both cost and carbon footprint.

What will you do? As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize desktop applications and backend services. You will work on challenging projects within a technical team of specialists dedicated to driving innovation in the energy industry.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, code, integrate, and debug software using C#/.NET
• Develop and execute test procedures and validate software
• Produce documentation and perform code reviews
• Contribute to R&D studies, prototyping, and technical reporting
• Work with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Atlassian
• Utilize gRPC, RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and the Avalonia UI framework

What do you bring?

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience in C#/.NET software development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• A true passion for software, innovation, and practical solutions
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written) – mandatory requirement

Bonus experience with:

• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Event-driven architecture (MQTT, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Python or shell scripting
• Agile/Scrum environments
