About Our Client

The client is a mid-sized, fast-growing health insurance provider focused on the European market. With a strong emphasis on innovation and customer-centric solutions, the company is expanding steadily and aims to redefine healthcare coverage across the region.

Job Description

  • Analyze healthcare and insurance-related datasets to identify trends, improve risk models, and support data-driven decision-making across the business.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms to provide actionable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Use SQL to extract and manipulate data from relational databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Leverage Python (with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib) for data cleaning, analysis, automation, and advanced statistical modeling.
  • Collaborate with internal teams-such as underwriting, claims, and customer service-to define analytical requirements and deliver tailored insights.
  • Work closely with data engineers and IT to ensure high-quality data infrastructure and pipeline integrity.
  • Continuously improve data processes and analytical methodologies to increase efficiency and insight quality.
  • Clearly present data findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Stay informed about emerging tools, technologies, and trends in health insurance analytics and data science.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate is a data-driven professional with 2-5 years of experience in a data analyst role, ideally within the insurance, healthcare, or broader financial services industry. They have a strong command of SQL and Python, and are comfortable working with large datasets to extract meaningful insights that drive business decisions.

They possess a solid understanding of data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, and can confidently present their findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with data cleaning, statistical analysis, and performance reporting is essential, along with a proactive attitude and a collaborative mindset.

The candidate should be business-oriented, detail-focused, and able to work independently, while also thriving in cross-functional teams. Familiarity with the European health insurance landscape is a plus, as is experience working with cloud-based data environments (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, or AWS Redshift).

What's On Offer

  • A competitive salary package with performance-based incentives
  • A permanent position in a fast-growing, European-focused health insurer with strong growth potential
  • The opportunity to work with modern data tools and technologies in a collaborative and agile environment
  • Flexibility to work hybrid (from home and from a modern office environment)
  • A role where your work has a real impact on healthcare access and outcomes across Europe
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities to grow your skills and advance your career
  • A supportive, international team culture that values ownership, transparency, and innovation
