Role and Responsibilities

Product Development Facilitator – Early-Stage Development of Cooking Appliances

Location: Hisense Europe HQ Velenje / Hybrid Work

Department: Product Planning – Cooking Appliances

At Hisense Europe, we are looking for a Product Development Facilitator who will play a key role in shaping the future of major home appliances – primarily cooking appliances (e.g., ovens, cooktops). We’re not looking for a traditional project manager, but someone who knows how to connect people, lead structured dialogue, and help teams define clear development directions.

This is the early stage of product development – from the initial idea to confirming that the proposal has business potential. Once the direction is clear, the industrialization team takes over. Your role is to explore possibilities with various departments, narrow down open options, and shape a concrete starting point for further development.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead collaboration across departments (R&D, design, quality, manufacturing, sales, etc.)
• Guide discussions, facilitate decisions, and help shape a shared product vision within cross-functional teams
• Ensure transparent communication with leadership on progress, dilemmas, and key decisions
• Create structure in a creative, often undefined environment
• Bridge innovative ideas with real-world feasibility
• Maintaining project documentation

What you bring:

• Experience leading collaboration in cross-functional environments
• Excellent communication, moderation, and facilitation skills
• Ability to create clarity from complexity and diverse perspectives
• Understanding of team dynamics and decision-making processes
• Fluent English (Slovenian or other languages are a plus)
