Junior Product Manager, Zyliss

We are looking for a Junior Product Manager to join our Zyliss team in Zurich, Switzerland. We are a premium housewares brand, with a portfolio of distinguished brands including Zyliss, Cole & Mason, Culinare, AdHoc, Ken Hom and Swissmar; and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional and innovative product ranges.

We are seeking a proactive team player with a can-do attitude who is eager to grow professionally in the field of Product Management. The purpose of the role is to support the Zyliss Product Management team to facilitate the development of products and packaging, support launch activities and maintenance of information during their life cycle.

Key responsibilities:

Within this role, you will be an integral part of our Zyliss Product Management Team, and your role will include:

• Market Research and Analysis: conduct research to identify customer trends and preferences, and analyse market data to identify opportunities
• Product Strategy and Roadmap: assist in developing and maintaining product roadmaps, defining product requirements, and unique selling points
• Product Management: coordinate assigned projects from product briefing to white seal approval samples, including sample reviews and documentation 
• Sample Management: coordinate sales sample requests and communication with Sales Teams
• Product Packaging: write packaging briefings and work with external agencies for execution
• Ownership of data integrity, governance and validity: manage the creation, review and update of information within Item Set Up sheets and Salsify
• Collaboration and Communication: work with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales, etc.) to ensure alignment and smooth product development

Knowledge & Skills required:

• A minimum of 1–2 years of experience in Junior Product Management, Back Office, Administrative, or similar roles is required
• Solid office and administrative skills with a high attention to detail.
• Must be a confident user of MS Excel and PowerPoint, and be at least at intermediate level.
• Excellent team player, with a mature outlook and an ability to deal with all types of people at all different levels.
• Ability to adapt to an environment where there are few people working in a close-knit team, where resources are scarce and a hands-on approach to the business is a prerequisite for success.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and verbally
• The role is 100%, Zurich based, office based (with hybrid working), and limited travelling requirements.
