DevOps Engineer

We’re searching for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a forward-thinking technology and advisory firm based in Central Stockholm, Sweden. This is a permanent, on-site position where you’ll work with advanced AI-powered tools that support global organisations, including many Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 clients.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps, with strong experience in Google Cloud, AWS, and Terraform. You’ll play a key role in architecting and managing scalable multi-cloud environments and driving cloud migration and automation projects that support rapid growth and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable multi-cloud systems across Google Cloud and AWS with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Lead cloud migration efforts, including moving on-premise systems to the cloud and managing hybrid architectures.
• Maintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters using managed services for operational efficiency.
• Drive infrastructure upgrades, patching, and cleanouts to reduce technical risk and strengthen the tech foundation.
• Build infrastructure solutions that scale with company growth and integrate diverse technology stacks.
• Establish and promote best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and IT teams to align infrastructure with business goals.
• Stay up to date with AI-driven DevOps trends and emerging tools to keep the organisation at the cutting edge.

About You

• Extensive experience with Google Cloud and AWS in multi-cloud environments, with expert Terraform skills.
• Proven track record leading cloud migration projects and managing hybrid infrastructure solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes operations and optimization at scale.
• Strong experience handling complex tech debt and infrastructure risk management.
• Proactive, hands-on, and capable of independently solving complex infrastructure challenges.
• Solid understanding of modern DevOps practices, focusing on automation and scalability in high-growth companies.
