Senior Cisco Network Engineer

Do you have 9+ years of experience in network and collaboration solutions? We are looking for a colleague to join our team in the Hague.

Requirements:

• 9+ years of experience in network and collaboration solutions in large enterprise environments
• Proven participation in at least 5 network design and deployment projects
• Strong experience in incident troubleshooting, escalation handling (L2/L3), and problem resolution
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco infrastructure, including SDN technologies
• Proven track record with change and release management activities in production environments
• Good knowledge of Cisco Networks (must be evident in project experience and day-to-day responsibilities)
• Certification: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) – must include certification title, date, and issuing body
• Language(s): English (fluent)

Job Description:

• Provide technical support for upgrades and changes to Cisco infrastructure, including SDN migration
• Assist with 2nd and 3rd line incident resolution, including escalation management and root cause analysis
• Execute installation, maintenance, and configuration of Cisco network components in secure production and test environments
• Deliver technical documentation for installation, maintenance, and support activities
• Participate in change and release management processes related to Cisco environments
• Ensure compliance with organisational processes and procedures during deployments and upgrades
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the secure and scalable evolution of Europol’s Cisco infrastructure
• Participate in on-call support and scheduled weekend activities with prior written approval
