About the Role
As a Data Analyst, your primary responsibility is to analyze trading transactions, client data, and key business metrics to support team and organizational decision-making. You will work closely with Risk Management and Trading Engineers to leverage data-driven insights that enhance trading strategies, optimize system parameters, and prevent system exploitation.
Your work will involve analyzing trade flow, execution performance, and market impact to identify inefficiencies and detect abnormal behaviors. This includes activities related to both risk management and system performance enhancement. The insights derived from your analysis will serve as evidence-based foundations for developing strategies and solving problems effectively.
Your contributions will have a direct impact on business operations, making you an essential part of the company's success.
🚀 What You’ll Be Doing
• Data Extraction, Cleaning, and Analysis
Extract data from databases, clean and preprocess user or trading data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data supports strategic initiatives. • Trade Data Analysis
Examine and analyze trading data to identify patterns, trends, and investment opportunities. • Decision Support
Provide analytical insights and data-driven recommendations to support business decision-making processes.
• Process Improvement
Develop and enhance data analysis workflows to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of data outputs.
• Reporting and Exploratory Analysis
Produce ad-hoc reports and perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to support strategic planning and operational decisions.
• Risk Data Analysis and Monitoring
Analyze large datasets to assist in the team’s risk management efforts. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining risk reports and dashboards to monitor various risk types—such as credit risk, liquidity risk, and market risk—and track their status within the business.
• Emerging Risk Identification and Strategic Risk Projects
Work closely with the Risk Management team to identify emerging or evolving risks that may impact the organization. You may also be assigned special risk analysis projects as needed.
• Provide data to analyze trading behavior
Analyze data to identify and investigate toxic flow, arbitrage activities, high-frequency trading (HFT), scalping, sniping, and abnormal usage of Expert Advisors (EAs) to mitigate risk and safeguard the integrity of trading operations.
• Provide data to optimize Execution Performance
Monitor and analyze metrics such as order book dynamics, trade volume, fill ratios, liquidity depth, slippage, and requotes to enhance execution quality and trading efficiency.
• Evaluate Liquidity Providers (LPs) through data extraction and analysis to assess their performance and reliability.
Assess the performance of liquidity providers using quantitative methods and develop interactive, data-driven dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
• Support Risk and Trading Teams
Generate insightful reports related to toxic trading patterns, latency, and spread behavior. • Collaborate with the Risk Management team to develop risk models and implement real-time alert systems for identifying and responding to abnormal trading activities.
Design and implement rule-based or machine learning models to detect abnormal trading behavior. Deploy real-time alert systems to flag irregular activities and evaluate the impact of macroeconomic events on market dynamics.
🎯 What We’re Looking For
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Science, or Computer Science.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in data analysis is required. • Proven ability to generate Toxic Trading Pattern Reports within 24 hours of detection.
• Demonstrated success in improving trade surveillance model accuracy by at least 30%.
• Experience in enhancing order execution analysis to minimize system vulnerabilities and exploitation.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Skilled in SQL and database management for querying and handling large datasets.
• Proficiency in Python or R for advanced statistical and analytical modeling.
• Strong competency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data manipulation.
• Previous experience in financial markets, particularly in CFD or Forex industries.
• Strong understanding of trading systems and financial products.
• Familiarity with digital products and a genuine interest in trading or investment markets is considered a strong advantage.
• Candidates with experience in Big Data Analytics, advanced Python programming, and high-level SQL skills will be given special consideration.

• Disciplined, punctual, and able to work well in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical analyses to team members and senior management, as well as effectively solve analytical problems.
• Strong data analytical capabilities, including the ability to gather and integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources, and synthesize actionable insights.
