Department
CASH MANAGEMENT & CORPORATE BANKING SERVICES (CCS) DEPARTMENT with over 400 staffs has always played a crucial role in accompanying the Bank businesses through its transformation journey.

About the Position
In a challenging and multicultural environment, we seek a Java Tech Lead to join our CASH MANAGEMENT & CORPORATE BANKING SERVICES (CCS) DEPARTMENT. CCS design and manage the ICBS (International Core Banking System) of CA-CIB. The main features of this information system consist of payments & cash management, loans & deposits, international trade finance, guarantees, general expenses, reference data, limit and risk related systems. The department is in-charge of the core applications used by various departments in the bank: back offices, finance & accounting and compliance & risks.
The team is in-charge of the development and maintenance of financial core banking modules, including Accounts & Expense Management, Referential System and Access management system etc.
The position requires autonomy and reliability in performing duties while maintaining close communication with the rest of project/support teams as well as the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently. The candidate will need to develop a good understanding of both IT systems and business processes. As a Tech Lead you will be involved in analyzing functional specifications for development, share different solution design, prepare technical documentation, code, review and test as per the needs of our ICBS Information System. You will be implementing CCS standard software factory and propose new ideas in architecture design and software factory.
You will ensure the assigned projects; activities and tasks are delivered within the defined time, scope, cost and quality.
Main responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Define and guide system architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Code Quality: Enforce best practices in coding, testing and reviews.
- Technical Decision-Making: Evaluate trade-offs and make key technical decisions.
- Mentorship: guide developers, conduct code reviews and providing feedback.
- Innovation & Research: Stay updated on new technologies and propose improvements.
- CI/CD & Automation: Ensure smooth deployments and development workflows.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve application performance.
- Study, evaluate, understand, and provide feedback on functional specifications.
- Develop solutions following defined standards and high quality.
- Elaborate technical specifications, based on functional requirements and high-level architecture.
- Participate in analyzing, resolving and providing technical support escalated to the team.
- Draft specifications, technical design, unit tests, peer reviews and detailed system integration documents and any other documents as required during the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to maintaining a high standard of delivery quality.
- Participate in technical discussions and propose solutions based on industry best practices.
- Perform level 3 Support of applications in production - analyze and resolve issues as they arise.
Qualifications and Profile
This position requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant experiences in Java-J2EE software engineering, ideally in a banking environment.
