Machine Learning Engineer

What you’ll do:

• Build and optimize computer vision models to improve performance in face recognition, liveness detection, and image quality assessments across diverse user populations.
• Work directly with product managers, annotation teams, and engineers to translate real-world identity verification needs into scalable model training and deployment strategies.
• Deep-dive into model performance issues to identify gaps, retrain models, and incorporate new data pipelines, including video and unstructured image data.
• Stay ahead of AI trends with research on new algorithms and contribute to full-cycle development, from dataset curation and labeling to model rollout.
• Contribute to product-level decisions with a strong understanding of how algorithms impact user security, fraud prevention, and product usability.

What we’re looking for:

• Solid background in Python, PyTorch, and computer vision, with experience handling large-scale image or video datasets.
• Hands-on experience training and evaluating ML models in real-world use cases — including accuracy tuning, fraud detection, and deployment into production environments.
• Effective communicator who can document, share insights, and align work with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team that values innovation and ownership.
