Senior/Principal DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Related projects develop a scalable cloud-based platform for managing electric vehicle charging networks. The system supports thousands of charge points, enabling smart routing, dynamic pricing, billing, and advanced smart charging algorithms. It integrates with OCPP-compliant hardware, payment providers, and energy systems, ensuring high uptime, security, and interoperability.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help us optimise and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, improve infrastructure provisioning automation, improve monitoring, observability, and incident response, support the deployment and scaling of smart charging services, billing APIs, and analytics platforms.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps & Azure
• Solid expertise across the listed responsibilities
• Strong technical English
• High autonomy and ownership

• Experience with Azure networking

Responsibilities:

Azure DevOps Responsibilities:

• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
• Create reusable build and release modules
• Collaborate with the Dev team to modernise and simplify pipelines
• Unify CI/CD strategies across products
• Manage/optimise service connections & build agents
• Provide clear documentation (purpose, structure, usage)
• Prioritise simplicity, reusability, security, and best practices
• Handle deployments using Bicep
• Work with Git repositories (incl. branching strategies)
• Main formats: YAML (build/release), Bicep, Parameters
• Experience with Web App for Containers (build, ACR push, release)
