A forward-thinking engineering and consulting firm servicing top-tier mining and industrial clients is looking for a Software Developer to join their growing team in Perth. This is an opportunity to contribute to both in-house systems and custom client solutions that bridge the gap between operational technology (OT) and enterprise software.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain and enhance the company’s proprietary ERP system
• Develop bespoke software solutions integrating OT devices with enterprise systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders across technical and business teams
• Contribute to high-impact, innovative projects in a dynamic, agile environment

About You:

• 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience
• Skilled in refactoring and maintaining legacy Python code
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Comfortable translating technical requirements for non-technical audiences
• Proactive mindset with a passion for learning and staying current with tech trends

Tech Stack Includes:

• Python
• HTML5 / CSS3
• Microsoft SQL (complex queries)
• RESTful APIs
• Git
• Reporting tools (e.g., MS Report Builder)
• Bonus: experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Bonus: use of AI tools for coding productivity

Location

Perth-based (Hybrid Role)

Salary: $100k - $120k + super
