Software Engineer

Position: Software Engineer – Flight Simulator

Location: Zurich Metropolitan Area, Switzerland

Contract: Permanent contract, full-time position

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance flight simulator software for a renowned client in the aeronautics sector
• Work on back-end components using C++, C#, .NET
• Contribute to front-end development using JavaScript, HTML5
• Implement new functionalities and improve existing modules in collaboration with simulation engineers
• Ensure software quality through testing, debugging, and documentation
• Participate in integration and validation of software with simulator hardware
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams within Switzerland and Europe

Our Ideal Candidate Should Have:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• At least 3–5 years of experience in software development, ideally in simulation, aeronautics, or embedded systems
• Solid programming skills in C++, C#, .NET, and JavaScript/HTML5
• Experience with simulation or real-time systems is a strong asset
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control (e.g., Git)
• Strong analytical mindset, autonomous and quality-driven work style
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Switzerland and Europe
• Fluent English (spoken and written); German is a strong asset
