Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Espoo, Finland (Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite)
We’ve teamed up with a pioneering global technology company who are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their team in Espoo, Finland. This is a hands-on role driving the quality and automation strategy across next-generation networks that enable connectivity for millions of devices globally.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be central to the development and implementation of automated test frameworks for a carrier-grade wireless system. Your work will directly support robust, high-performance service delivery across a complex, end-to-end network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain automated test platforms for validating system and subsystem performance
- Develop tests using Robot Framework and Python, and integrate them into Jenkins pipelines
- Collaborate across System Test and Development Engineering teams to implement scalable automation
- Contribute to subsystem-level automation to ensure stable system-wide testing
- Troubleshoot test failures and support continuous improvement of QA tools and methods
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in DevOps, build/release engineering, or test automation
- 3+ years building test automation from scratch in telecom environments
- Expertise with Robot Framework and Python for automated testing
- Strong understanding of telecom protocols (LTE, NB-IoT, 3GPP)
- Proficient with Jenkins, Git, Docker, and CI/CD practices
- Comfortable working in Linux environments
- Experience with API testing, integration-level validation, and multi-platform automation
- Knowledge of GCP, Ansible, or Terraform is a bonus
