Position Title: Technology Analyst

The expectations of our clients, the competitive marketplace and our own ambitions have grown consistently over recent years. To ensure that we have the right structures in place to support the achievement of our goals we are currently recruiting for a Technology Analyst to join our IT team.


The Technology Analyst (Level 1) assists end users with all technical and telephony related queries either by telephone, email, online or desk visit.


The IT shifts run from 8am until 10.15pm Monday to Friday with a weekend and bank holiday on-call service which covers 9.15am until 5.30pm on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holiday Mondays.



Key Responsibilities


Responsibilities will include:

• Documenting the reported problem by creating a support ticket, asking pertinent questions in order to understand the nature of the request, troubleshooting the problem, using diagnostic tools as needed, resolving or escalating the problem to a more skilled technical technician or third party as required

• Carrying out routine operational tasks, updating documentation, new joiner set up and project work that may be assigned from time to time



Requirements:


  • IT related primary degree or post graduate IT qualification
  • IT related Master’s degree preferred
  • Appropriate Microsoft certifications
  • ITIL certification
  • Experience working with:

MS Windows 11

Apple iOS

MS Teams

MS Office 365

MS Exchange Online

Citrix

VMware

Active Directory

TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, POP3, SMTP

CheckPoint Security Suite

ProofPoint SEG

iManage DMS

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work within frameworks and change control processes
  • Friendly, adaptable and results focused
