AI Communications Account Manager

The Company and Role

A global strategic communications consultancy is seeking an experienced Account Manager for its Dublin office, specialising in AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies. The firm works with C-level executives at high-growth startups, top VCs, and Fortune 500s to craft compelling narratives and grow media presence.

This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional passionate about AI and automation. The ideal candidate will bring strong media relationships, storytelling ability, and strategic insight to help innovative clients shape public perception and business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of AI/emerging tech client accounts
• Develop and execute strategic communications plans
• Secure coverage in top outlets (e.g., Bloomberg, WSJ, Wired, TechCrunch)
• Build and leverage media and event relationships
• Lead internal teams and mentor junior staff
• Coordinate with stakeholders (IR, legal, investors, policy)
• Plan announcements, oversee reporting, and maintain client satisfaction
• Monitor tech trends to identify opportunities

Qualifications and Experience

• 4+ years in PR or communications
• Experience with AI or emerging tech clients (agency or in-house)
• Proven media placement success in business/tech outlets
• Strong messaging and writing skills
• Interest in AI, fintech, blockchain, and automation
• Experience in any of the following is a plus:
• B2B Enterprise, Deep Tech, Fintech, Future of Work, VC, Sustainability
• Bonus: Business development experience, sector expertise, familiarity with Substack/influencers/social AMAs
