Automation Tester

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester to join our client within the financial sector.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated tests across mobile and web applications to ensure the stability, reliability, and high quality of our systems and customer-facing platforms. This role involves close collaboration with development teams, DevOps, and business analysts to support critical financial applications.

Missions

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for both web and mobile applications.
  • Write and maintain test scripts for React and Java-based platforms.
  • Conduct regression, functional, performance, and load testing to ensure the system meets stability and performance standards.
  • Use tools like Selenium, JMeter, and Postman to automate testing processes and validate APIs.
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce bugs, identify root causes, and validate fixes.
  • Improve test coverage for complex business logic and enhance the automated test suite as new features are introduced.
  • Collaborate in Agile teams and participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Prepare and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, reports, and traceability matrices.
  • Ensure that testing activities align with project requirements and compliance standards.

Profile

  • Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Swagger.
  • Proficiency in test case management tools such as TestLink, TestRail, Zephyr, or X-Ray.
  • Solid knowledge of test scripting using Java and Gherkin.
  • Experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman/Swagger.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD environments, Kubernetes, and monitoring/logging tools like Kibana.
  • Experience working with SQL databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Understanding of identity management tools (e.g., Keycloak).
  • Knowledge of Agile testing processes and bug lifecycle management using Jira or VSTS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in complex financial systems.
  • Previous experience in the financial or banking sector.
  • Basic knowledge of container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to software quality in the finance industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English proficiency required).
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative Agile team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement.

Recruitment process

  • The pre-qualification interview with our Recruitment Manager
  • Receipt of our salary proposal / exclusivity agreement
  • 2nd interview with our Business Manager
  • Proposal of your application to the client
  • Interview at the client's premises, which can be conducted either by video or in person
