Frontend Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain quality cloud-based technical solutions / web front-end frameworks to meet business & client needs using best practice principles of usability, fault-tolerance, reliability, testing and durability
• Contribute to the engineering roadmap advocating for upgrades, technical refreshes and new versions
• Peer review code and technical solutions to ensure business continuity
• Research, suggest and implement best patterns and practices in line with modern industry standards
• Mentor other engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills required
• Integrate with a growing development team as we build an exciting development practice

Skills & Experience

• The following software engineering skills are desirable
• 2+ years of experience building web frontends with React + typescript
• E2e tests experience(playwright, cypress…)
• Knowledge of CI/CD system (Azure DevOps/Github)
• Proven development skills using design patterns and unit testing
• Mock-ups tools (Figma.)
• React query, react router experience would be a plus
• English is our working language.
• Ability to analyze complex, ambiguous, volatile situation to provide clear, rigorous diagnosis & recommendations
• Ability to adopt a consultative approach within an international environment
• Autonomous, self-starter, eager to learn & willing to get your hands dirty (more than once!)
