Frontend Developer (Node/React/Express)

Project Description:

Our client is a leading global Financial markets data provider runs a number of change programs to deliver of high-quality software that connects Financial Markets across the globe in a real-time, high frequency and low-latency data management chain. The projects are technically challenging in a very engaging environment making the most of cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities:

Own the web experience - design, develop, and maintain high-performance single-page applications (SPAs) with React + and TypeScript.

API & integration work - build or extend light Node.js/Express services and consume Spring-based REST/GraphQL endpoints; shape clear contracts with back-end teams.

Component architecture - create reusable, accessible UI components, establish design-system guidelines, and optimize rendering performance.

Testing & quality - implement unit, integration, and E2E tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress); enforce code quality via reviews and static analysis.

Cross-functional teamwork - partner with Product, UX, and Java engineers during Agile ceremonies; help translating business requirements into technical tasks.

Continuous improvement - evaluate emerging front-end tooling, refactor legacy code, and advocate for performance, security, and accessibility best practices.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 3-6 years professional front-end development, including 2 + years with React & Node.js
• Hooks, Context, state-management (Redux/RTK, Zustand, or similar), routing, server-side rendering/Next.js fundamentals
• Advanced ES2022+ and TS 5.x, functional patterns, asynchronous code
• Building REST/GraphQL endpoints, middleware, authentication (JWT/OAuth2), basic performance tuning
• Vite/Webpack, ESLint/Prettier, Babel, npm/yarn/pnpm, Git
• Comfortable reading Java +/Spring Boot code, Swagger/OpenAPI specs, and contributing to contract discussions
• Docker, GitHub/GitLab Actions (or similar) pipelines, familiarity with CDN & edge caching concepts
• B2+ English, clear communication, user-centric mindset, ability to work autonomously
