Senior Threat Hunting Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Threat Hunting Specialist to be embedded on-site with one of our key clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, supporting day-to-day security operations, proactively identifying advanced threats, and enhancing the client’s detection and response capabilities. This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for someone with a strong background in threat detection, malware analysis, and adversary behavior profiling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct proactive threat hunts using a combination of threat intelligence, behavioral analytics, and detection tools.
• Analyze large data sets (e.g., endpoint, network, log sources) to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential threats.
• Develop, tune, and maintain detection rules and threat hunting queries across SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms.
• Provide guidance on improving detection engineering, threat intelligence application, and incident readiness.
• Work closely with SOC teams, Incident Response, and Security Architecture to improve overall cyber defense posture.
• Collaborate with the client’s blue team to build and mature threat-hunting playbooks and processes.
• Deliver regular threat hunting reports, trend analysis, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Act as the technical liaison between the client and our internal security team for escalations, updates, and innovation sharing.
