We are looking for MSAT UPS Process Engineer - Technology Transfer for a project based in Visp, Switzerland, this is 6 month’s onsite contract with possibility of extension. Immediate start. Must have experience within an MSAT function.

The focus of the function is on the upstream cell culture part of the manufacturing process. Starting from thorough scientific and technical knowledge, this role will contribute to improvement initiatives and the monitoring of existing processes.

Main Duties Will Include

• Provide support to existing commercial manufacturing processes by data trending and monitoring, by generating scientific/technical study protocols and reports in support of significant changes and by supporting investigations and process/product impact assessments upon significant deviations to the manufacturing process.
• Identify and drive process improvements to increase process yield or robustness, through deep process understanding and digital driven initiatives, and generate a supportive data package for implementation at manufacturing scale.
• Modelling & data analytics in support of investigations, data monitoring, process improvements and gaining additional process knowledge.

Essential Skills / Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree (university / university of applied sciences) or doctorate – preferably in biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry or similar.
• Minimum 5 or 7 years respectively in process development or MSAT-like functions.
• English mandatory / German a real plus
• GMP understanding.
• Team and leadership qualities, as well as very good communication skills are among your strengths.
• Cross-functional, structured and focused work characterize you.
• You are well-organized and open to new ideas and suggestions.
