Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Drive IT projects with a focus on data-related initiatives.
• Apply project management principles to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and technical challenges during project execution.
• Understand and oversee the flow of data from source systems to dashboards.
• Identify and manage AWS services involved (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena).
• Ensure critical stages like ingestion, transformation, storage, and visualization are properly managed.
• Apply core data governance principles including quality, access control, and compliance.
• Ensure data security and traceability using appropriate tools and practices.
• Facilitate the integration of Power BI with AWS data sources.
• Implement data modeling best practices in Power BI.
• Manage report publishing and access using Power BI Service.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams (data engineers, data analysts, PBI specialists) and business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Identify and manage technical risks, such as data quality issues and pipeline failures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies (data engineering, BI, security, infrastructure).

Requirements:

• Proficient in English (Advanced Level).
• Previous experience as an IT Project Manager.
• Certifications: PMP/PMI certification or Agile certification (e.g., PSM).
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data flow, and AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena).
• Solid understanding of data governance principles and data security practices.
• Experience with Power BI integration, including data modeling and report management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Proven expertise in managing risks and dependencies in technical projects.
