Consulting Project Manager

We’re on the hunt for a highly capable Project Manager/Consultant with a strong technology background to help bring structure, momentum, and delivery discipline to the establishment of a modern Architecture practice.

This is a hands-on role supporting the Architecture Manager to operationalise Enterprise Architecture activities — think delivery, coordination, and making sure things actually happen.

What you'll be doing:

• Drive delivery of key initiatives including reference architectures for ERP (workforce technologies) and Digital Student Experience
• Coordinate internal architecture resources (including two contractor EAs and advisory support from an external consultancy)
• Support demand and resource management across Solution Architecture
• Establish and manage a backlog of new initiatives, ensuring clear priorities and focus
• Help embed core architecture practices — ensuring projects have solution designs and integration requirements before delivery kicks off
• Keep the wheels turning: track progress, remove blockers, and ensure outcomes are met

What we’re looking for:

• A tech-savvy PM who can work at pace, with an eye for detail and structure
• Experience working closely with Architecture or IT strategy teams
• Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
• Someone who can "hold the pen" and keep delivery moving
