The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled BIM Electrical Technician to join our vibrant team in Istanbul. Contribute to local and international projects, working on sustainable electrical solutions for complex buildings..

As a BIM Electrical Technician At Arup, You Will

• Deliver projects to required technical standards, on time and within budget, reporting to the team leader or project manager.
• Take ownership of drawing production processes using Revit MEP.
• Receive training in relevant software and benefit from close mentorship by senior staff.
• Work on diverse projects at various stages, from planning and appraisal to detailed design and construction.
• Prepare accurate and detailed 3D drawings to support technical designs, adhering to approved standards.
• Implement quality assurance procedures for all deliverables.
• Communicate effectively within a collaborative team environment, including colleagues, project managers, and other design disciplines.
  
  
  

Does this role inspire you?

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for BIM and electrical systems. We also value:

• Graduation from a Vocational High School in Electrical/Electronics; an Electrical Technician degree or an Electrical Associate Degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in similar design projects, focusing on low voltage and weak current electrical installations in buildings.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, with advanced skills in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Ability to coordinate drawings with electrical, mechanical, construction, and architectural disciplines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Completed military service (for male candidates).
• A disciplined approach and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
