We are looking for a passionate, talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who can drive key engineering and business decisions that impact Amazon’s long-term vision, including innovation in the delivery and consumption of media and entertainment. In this development role, you will have an opportunity to make a large impact on the design, architecture and quality of products used every day, by people you know.

About The Team

Our team is on an exciting growth journey, we are involved in new device launches and working out how to scale our operations efficiently.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field 4+ years of experience as a developer, QA Engineer, or as an SDET 4+ years of experience in Java or C development, or white box testing 4+ years of experience in C++, Python, Shell, or Java 4+ years of experience to programmatically test the product, measure test coverage, develop the best automation, drive testability and diagnostic ability into the product, while promoting best practices in quality areas
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment
• Experience with security in service-oriented architectures and web services
• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field Deep understanding on Android or IOS operating system highly desired Experience with open source test tools API automation testing including working experience with unit test automation frameworks Ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams and ability to multi-task on multiple -products and projects Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills Experience building test frameworks for creating applications on various platforms Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment.
