CHEVRON BASSC – Digital & Analytics Team Internship 2025

With more than 1,300 employees, Chevron Service Center (Buenos Aires Shared Service Center - BASSC), located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, provides solutions in the areas of Finance, IT, Downstream, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management and Audit to the global organization and is launching its Internship Program. 

The selected candidates will join the BASSC Digital & Analytics Team

Your Initial Responsibilities May Include

• Data Analysis: Analyze and extract insights from large datasets regarding the acquisition of goods and services from suppliers (Contracting, Buying, Logistics, Material Management).
• Price and Market Analysis: Take advantage of Market Intelligence tools to identify benchmarking opportunities and deliver market briefings that support strategic decision making.
• Vendor Management: Analyze vendor performance metrics, support sourcing processes and contract negotiation, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and services.
• Dashboard Management: Design, develop, and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Digital Innovation: Identify and capture efficiencies using digital tools (Power Automate, Power Apps and others) to improve our processes.
• Reporting and Presentation: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
  
  

Interns will have the opportunity to be part of the Digital & Analytics team, start understanding the role and its tasks, and their impact on the business. Additionally, they will have the chance to interact with requesters from different countries and regions, with diverse cultures and priorities.

 

Requirements

• Students beyond their 3rd year of Business Administration – Industrial Engineering or related.
• Handling of Office Package.
• Fluent in written and oral English.
  
  

Desirable

• Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query / Macros.
• Proficiency in SQL / Python.
• Proficiency in AI (Generative AI, Deep Learning, Machine Learning).
  
  

Hours per week: 20 hours.

Internship duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extending for 6 more months.

Location: Puerto Madero, CABA
