Job Description

Join our dynamic Migration Factory team, the core engine driving technical transformation within the Solon project. We are looking for skilled Java developers to support end-to-end modernization of legacy systems, focusing on efficiency, standardization, and scalability while ensuring high quality.

You will be part of a long-term initiative to migrate and re-architect existing applications into a modern, event-driven ecosystem. Your role starts with technical modernization and evolves into the design and development of future-proof, Kafka-integrated components.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy applications using a standardized Migration Factory approach
• Analyze high-level requirements and implement missing technical details
• Collaborate with a high-performance team in a deep-end, fast-paced environment
• Perform initial technical modernization of legacy systems
• Participate in full re-modernization and architectural alignment with the “Landscape of the Future”
• Design and develop event-driven components integrated with Apache Kafka
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java development
• Solid knowledge of Spring Boot framework
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture, ideally using Apache Kafka
• Proven track record in legacy system modernization and migration
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
• Ability to work independently with minimal specifications
• Sound understanding of design and integration patterns
• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code and well-structured unit tests
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL
