iOS Software Application Developer (Virtual)

Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Virtual iOS Software Application Developer . We are seeking a skilled and experienced iOS Developer to join our advanced development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in iOS development and mobile applications, particularly with SwiftUI, and a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain applications that enhance the user experience for our aerospace solutions.

Position Responsibilities

• Design and develop user interfaces using SwiftUI for iOS applications
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product managers to define and implement user-centric designs and features tailored for mobile users
• Architect and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance code while adhering to industry best practices in mobile application development
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable tasks for mobile applications
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in mobile development, evaluating their potential application within Boeing’s projects
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team
• Lead development, selection, tailoring, and continuous integration and continuous delivery of software
• Support issue resolution, leads root cause analysis for software issues, identifies opportunities and implements process improvements
  
  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• 5+ years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong focus on iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI
• 3+ years of experience in integrating with backend services like RESTful APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Azure DevOps, Git and familiarity with CI/CD processes
  
  

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• 3+ years of experience with Java/Java Script or ReactJS
• React Native experience is a plus
• Understanding of design principles and user experience best practices.
• Experience developing Cloud-native applications

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary base pay range $130,000 - $161,000
