About the Role:

We’re looking for a motivated and curious Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their DevOps journey who is eager to grow their skills in cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment workflows, while also gaining exposure to software engineering practices. You’ll work closely with our development team to improve and maintain our delivery pipelines and systems, and may also contribute to coding tasks, tooling development, or technical troubleshooting that supports the broader engineering effort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and monitor CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Automate and streamline infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Manage and monitor cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve release processes.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across environments.
• Ensure proper security, compliance, and backup procedures are followed.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a DevOps or related role.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes is a plus).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar.
• Comfortable working with Linux-based environments.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Exposure to security practices in DevOps workflows.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
