PHP Developer Marketplace

We are looking for a highly passionate and skilled developer with high attention to detail that is responsible for their codebase related to our Marketplace.

Our new colleague will have the opportunity to work remotely on a regular basis. We expect all candidates to send us the application documents by the 20th of July.

Responsibilities

• As a part of our agile development team, your primary focus will be the back-end development of new features and modules

• Developing new requirements using PHP and Symfony
• Working with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
• Optimizing and maintaining existing code
• Communicating with clients to identify and resolve bugs
• Actively participating in Scrum meetings and sprint planning in Jira
• Collaborating closely with the team to define and implement technical solutions
• Adhering to programming best practices and project quality standards
• Proposing improvements and fixing identified bugs

• Involvement in the platforms optimization and scalability projects

• Identifying and prototyping best practices for backend engineering

• Researching and sharing to the team and the community cool areas you are passionate of

Skills Required

• At least 3 years of experience with PHP

• Deep technical understanding of RESTful API’s

• MySQL

• HTML5 - basic level

• Javascript - basic level

• OOP

• Design patterns

• Experience with at least one of: Slim, Symfony

• Linux - basic level

Nice to have

• Proven experience with distributed caching systems such as: Redis / Memcached

• ElasticSearch

• Docker and Jenkins
