We started out in 2015 as ING’s software development hub, then steadily expanded our range to include more services and competencies. Project Description

GSRS is an API orchestrator (End2End service) that serves as a vital backbone for secure and efficient financial data exchange within the ING ecosystem and beyond. It verifies the accuracy of incoming account information and fund confirmation requests originating from external third parties, ING clients, and internal ING stakeholders. Ensuring robust security, it confirms that strong customer authentication is provided promptly for each request.

When necessary, the orchestrator enhances these requests across Europe, retrieving detailed ledger information from multiple countries to ensure comprehensive data accuracy. It adeptly maps responses from various European jurisdictions into standardized external reporting formats, seamlessly integrating with the back-office systems of third parties, ING clients, or internal teams.

Anticipating upcoming legislative changes, this asset positions ING as a central orchestrator in the evolving financial landscape. Its innovative design aims to establish ING as the premier channel for future-ready, computer-to-computer communication—empowering real-time information exchange that meets the growing demands of clients worldwide.

What You Bring To The Team

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Romanian
• Excellent team player in an international team, quality focused, service oriented, eager to learn.
• You are curious and understand the latest developments in the technical and financial services.
• You have a good understanding of banking in general or you are passionate about learning it. You are able to discuss with your stakeholders and product owner about features and stories and can translate these into software with real business value.
• You have strong problem solving and analytical thinking - ability to diagnose and resolve ambiguous problems
• You have a good understanding of Software Architecture.
• You have experience in Continuous Delivery.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in developing applications using:
• Java SE 11+
• Spring Framework & Spring Boot
• REST API, Swagger
• SQL (eg. Oracle, MSSql)
• Kafka
• Persistency frameworks (eg. JPA, Hibernate)
• Test automation
• Gatling is a plus
• OAuth2 is a plus
• University degree in Computer Science, Cybernetics or equivalent through experience (3 years +)
• Experience working in an Agile environment, using Agile methodologies and related tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Familiar with continuous integration & continuous delivery principles and tools (Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Azure DevOps)
• Nice to have cloud experience (Kubernetes/Openshift)
• Familiar with the DevOps concept
• Strong delivery track record
• Experience in building applications from scratch is a plus
