Duties

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining machine learning models and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that leverage data-driven insights. Your role will involve applying statistical analysis, data preprocessing, and algorithm development to solve complex problems and optimize performance. Develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems. Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to gather requirements and understand project objectives. Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to ensure data quality and accuracy. Implement and optimize machine learning algorithms, ensuring scalability and efficiency. Evaluate and select appropriate machine learning techniques and tools for specific tasks. Conduct experiments and perform statistical analysis to validate and improve model performance. Collaborate with software engineers to integrate machine learning solutions into production systems. Monitor and maintain deployed models, ensuring their ongoing performance and accuracy. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning and related fields. Communicate complex concepts and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills

Minimum of 6-9 years of experience with strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java. In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Proficiency in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation. Experience with big data processing tools and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. Solid understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and distributed computing. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex, open-ended problems. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
