Head Energy is looking for a skilled/experienced Project Engineering Manager

Job Description

  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of project execution and the interlink between technical disciplines, the engineering sequence, procurement, and planning.
  • It’s expected that the PEMs to be good communicators and be proactive to resolve issues and challenges, identify improvement opportunities and contribute to a continuous improvement culture to maintain delivery of value at the fore front of project execution and secure efficiency on your project allocations.
  • Co-ordinate and collaborate with other members of the Engineering Management Group and departments within client, such as BD, sales, and Life Cycle Services to further the value offering of client Process Systems
  • In addition to your technical skills, you should take ownership and proactively follow up the projects you are responsible for.
  • Maximize the tender winning chances by continuously working with BD&S, technology team, procurement, engineering, and management to optimize technical tender solutions and concept from handover from BD&S to submission

Qualifications

  • Have a degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline with 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role / level of responsibility managing multidiscipline engineering teams in EPC projects.
  • Strong familiarity with the interfaces between engineering, procurement and fabrication of process/utility/topside modules and skids that consist of rotating & static equipment, piping, valves, instrumentation, and ancillary equipment.
  • You enjoy managing the technical side of a project and solving detailed engineering problems, making prioritization as you go. You need certain amount of creativity and as Engineering Manager you can make informed decisions in sometimes changing and uncertain situations.
  • You should be organized and be able identify priorities and key activities to meet both technical and commercial milestones, having a good commercial understanding is beneficial.
