As Front End Engineer, you’ll help define and develop web interfaces that connect users to Zoom’s powerful REST API services.

About The Team

The Zoom Async Communication team builds high-impact projects used by hundreds of millions daily. Joining us means working on internet-scale services that demand high performance and scalability. You'll gain hands-on experience with popular tech stacks like NoSQL (HBase, DynamoDB, Cassandra), REST APIs, and modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue and React. You'll collaborate with a team of top-tier engineers to build and take ownership of complex services using cutting-edge tools from Silicon Valley’s tech ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Composing web pages using HTML/CSS
• Using React or Vue framework to communicate with REST-based backend services
• Testing JavaScript with JS test frameworks such as MochaJS
• Building, packing, and releasing frontend services using tools like Webpack and Jenkins
• Conducting peer code reviews
  
  

What we’re looking for

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and showcase proven expertise in Javascript acquired through practical experience of over 2 years.
• Be able to work with Vue or React framework
• Have industry experience as a tech lead working with a group of engineers for product development, code review, and release
• Be knowledgeable in HTML/CSS
• Have working experience in using REST API/WebSocket
• Be familiar with at least one scripting language, such as Python, shell, PHP
• Be proficient in JavaScript

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

$87 600,00

Maximum

$186 000,00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
