Location: Netherlands – Remote (must be based in the Netherlands)

Rate: 120 euro per hour

Contract Duration: 12 months

My client is an innovative fintech company at the forefront of financial technology solutions, dedicated to transforming how businesses and individuals engage with financial services.

As they embark on large-scale cloud migration, they are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to assist in their transition to AWS and help build a scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design and execution of the AWS migration strategy, ensuring a smooth transition from on-premise or other cloud platforms.
• Implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions tailored to the needs of a high-growth fintech environment.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to implement best practices for cloud infrastructure, security, and automation.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.
• Provide guidance on AWS services, ensuring appropriate use of cloud-native tools.
• Assist in developing and implementing disaster recovery, failover, and backup strategies.
• Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and AWS updates to continuously improve the cloud environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, specifically with AWS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security.
• Experience with large-scale cloud migration projects in the fintech or financial services sector is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architecture.
