Senior DevOps Engineer - Systematic Hedge Fund (HFT) - London

Our client, a leading systematic hedge fund based in London, is seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join their high-frequency trading (HFT) team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute at a pivotal time, driving automation and developing tools that will enhance the capabilities of both trading and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement infrastructure and tooling to support the expansion of execution platforms.
• Collaborate across the technology stack to automate workflows and build internal tools that empower trading and engineering operations.
• Develop data processing and monitoring solutions to deliver actionable insights and improve system observability.

Key Requirements:

• Proficient in both scripting (preferably Python and Bash) and systems programming languages (C/C++).
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (ideally using GitLab).
• Hands-on experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, and Splunk.
