Job Title: Software Component Manager

Location: Zurich, Switzerland

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Software Component Manager (SWCM) to join our team in Zurich. In this role, you will take ownership of critical software components, driving architecture alignment, integration, and migration readiness across platforms. Your leadership will be key in enabling faster onboarding, enhancing system quality, and ensuring successful SaaS implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of software components, ensuring design quality, consistency, and alignment with system architecture.
• Lead and coordinate component development, integration, and lifecycle management across cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate onboarding and assessment activities in preparation for SaaS migration and architectural reviews.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, DevOps, and quality teams to streamline CI/CD processes and ensure compliance with standards.
• Contribute to Agile/Scrum practices, managing timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, including at least 4 years in a leadership or component ownership role.
• Proven experience with software component management (SWCM).
• Strong understanding of system architecture, integration strategies, and software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and quality assurance practices.
• Experience working with SERA, MERs, OCRA, and ROCC frameworks or tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience with SaaS implementation and migration planning.
• Ability to drive technical assessments and contribute to architectural review processes.
