DevOps Engineer - Linux - Vienna

My client, a large established organisation based in Vienna is recruiting for a suitably experienced Linux Systems Engineer.

You will need to have in-depth experience with Linux, Containers and Orchestration, Kubernetes, Hypervisor and AI & ML application support

This role is based on-site in Vienna and you will be working on a large hyperconverged enterprise environment.

Location: Vienna - on-site Monday - Friday.

Salary: 70,000 Euros + Benefits

Job Description:

Expert knowledge of

• Linux systems infrastructure setup, operations, practices and optimization
• Containers and orchestration / Kubernetes setup and operations
• Hypervisor architecture and operations
• AI and ML application support and GPU management

Experience with:

• Virtualization, particularly VMware, Proxmox, KVM and QEMU on Linux
• Software-defined storage, particularly CEPH
• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning infrastructure setup and configuration
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platforms, particularly Ansible and Terraform

Familiarity with:

• Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS)
• Hyperconverged Infrastructure
• Cisco fabric interconnect infrastructure
• NetApp storage administration
• Windows based systems administration
• Cloud services and hybrid environments management.
