Senior Fullstack Developer & Scrum Master

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Scrum Master with Fullstack Development experience to join our dynamic IT team in Brussels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, be passionate about Agile methodologies, and able to balance hands-on coding with team facilitation and process improvement.

This hybrid role requires someone who can lead Agile teams as a Scrum Master, while actively contributing to the codebase as a Fullstack Developer.

Key Responsibilities

As Scrum Master:

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives).
• Guide the team on Agile best practices and ensure continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments and act as a buffer between the team and external disruptions.
• Work closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the backlog.

As Fullstack Developer:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure applications.
• Work across the full stack (front-end, back-end, database).
• Contribute to system architecture and design discussions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong Java development background – mandatory
• Experience with modern front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js)
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Proficient in SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies

Other Requirements:

4 days per week on-site in Brussels – mandatory
