We are now looking for a

DIGITAL DELIVERY MANAGER

who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of digital products and features that enhance Finnair’s customer experience and growth. You will lead the daily operations of cross-functional development squads, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. In this role you will work closely with Product Leads to make sure we are bringing value to our customers and business.

Our Digital Channels team is responsible for customer-facing digital channels such as Finnair.com, mobile app and in-flight entertainment system (IFEC). Together with our product managers, developers, designers, subject matter experts and stakeholders we are building the biggest ecommerce store in Finland and world class experience for our customers. In the very fast-changing aviation industry we are constantly experimenting with new ways of working to make our customers’ lives easier.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the daily work of the development team, ensuring clarity, focus, and alignment
  • Own the delivery of digital products and features, ensuring they meet customer needs and business goals with quality standards and agreed timelines
  • Actively remove obstacles and blockers to enable smooth and efficient development progress
  • Help the team focus on the most valuable and essential tasks by prioritizing effectively based on business goals and customer needs.
  • Help team to facilitate agile ceremonies
  • Promote agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team
  • Continuously assess and improve processes, tools, and team dynamics to enhance performance and outcomes
  • Ensure effective collaboration by involving relevant stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
  • Align dependencies across internal Finnair teams and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery
  • Coordinate and manage squad release activities, ensuring readiness and communication across all parties

Our Expectations

  • 5 years’ experience in digital delivery, agile project management, or product ownership / management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with agile software development teams
  • Ability to navigate and prioritize work in complex environments and align with cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with external IT vendors and managing dependencies across multiple teams
  • Understanding of agile methodologies (eg. Scrum, Kanban)
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
