We’re expanding our physical POS product line and looking for a technically strong Instore Sales Engineer to support our sales and merchant success teams!



Responsibilities:


  • Act as the technical bridge between iyzico’s Sales/Account Management teams and physical POS merchants
  • Support merchants during the entire onboarding process, including terminal setup, configuration, test transactions, and go-live processes
  • Understand merchant infrastructure and operational flow, propose appropriate iyzico POS solutions (e.g., Android POS, softPOS, integrated systems)
  • Provide hands-on support for debugging and resolving terminal-related issues such as hardware malfunctions, connectivity problems, or software bugs
  • Collaborate closely with terminal vendors and third-party integrators to ensure seamless communication between iyzico’s infrastructure and physical POS devices
  • Assist the Product and Deployment teams by providing merchant feedback and participating in pilot rollouts or feature validation processes
  • Prepare technical documentation, integration guides, and troubleshooting checklists tailored to merchant and partner needs
  • Serve as the primary technical contact during pre-sales and early post-sales stages for iyzico’s physical POS products
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends in retail payments, EMV, PCI compliance, Android-based POS solutions, and local regulations (e.g., Türkiye'de TSM/GİB süreçleri)
  • Be proactive in identifying technical blockers in the field and contribute to internal knowledge bases and product improvements



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Experience with POS terminals (Verifone, Ingenico, Android POS, EFT-POS) and payment infrastructure technologies
  • Hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting (firmware updates, connectivity issues, peripheral compatibility, etc.)
  • Familiarity with communication protocols used in physical POS (e.g., TCP/IP, Serial, USB, Bluetooth, GPRS/4G)
  • Knowledge of terminal programming languages or environments (e.g., C, JavaCard, Android SDK) is a plus
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills to manage multiple installations and partner support tasks
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), especially in explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric mindset
  • Comfortable working in the field when needed, assisting with on-site setups, debugging, and testing
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, Risk, and Operations
  • Advanced level of English and Turkish, both spoken and written
