Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Golang Backend Engineer with expertise in networking, security protocols, and scalable backend development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing thousands of gateway devices remotely, configuring OSPF, Virtual Tunnel Interfaces (VTI), and IPsec, and ensuring secure communication between backend services and network devices.

Our backend infrastructure is deployed in a Kubernetes environment for scalability and high availability. You will also work with SNMP traps for real-time monitoring and leverage deep knowledge of Linux kernel networking and distributed backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Develop and maintain a Golang-based backend to manage thousands of network devices.

✅ Implement secure authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2, mTLS) for backend services and gateway devices.

✅ Configure and manage OSPF routing, Virtual Tunnel Interfaces (VTI), and IPsec VPNs for secure communication.

✅ Deploy and maintain backend systems in a Kubernetes environment to ensure reliability and scalability.

✅ Utilize SNMP traps for real-time network monitoring and alerting.

✅ Optimize the performance, scalability, and security of distributed backend systems.

✅ Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Networking teams to build a high-performance infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

🔹 Strong proficiency in Golang for backend development.

🔹 Deep understanding of networking protocols (OSPF, IPsec, VPNs).

🔹 Experience with Kubernetes for containerized application deployment.

🔹 Knowledge of secure authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2, mTLS).

🔹 Familiarity with SNMP traps for real-time network monitoring.

🔹 Experience with Linux kernel networking and system-level networking concepts.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

➕ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

➕ Knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform or Helm.

➕ Hands-on experience with message queues (Kafka, NATS).

➕ Understanding of distributed tracing and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
